New Projects
I started two new projects about mid February and can tell they will be on the needles for a bit of time. The lace project was started, ripped, started, ripped, started, ripped, and started. I must have about 50 hours into this project and this is all I have to show. It's really my first time with lace weight yarn so it took some getting used to. Once I got some stitch markers in place it went along a little easier.
Trellis Lace Scarf by Margaret Stove from Vogue Knitting, Holiday 2003.
I think I'm in the knitting groove so I should be able to continue on with any more problems. I'm using Fino, Alpaca with a Twist.
I also started a pair of socks from Interweave Knits, Fall 2005. They are the Rib and Cable Socks by Nancy Bush. Using Mountain Colors Bearfoot for these. They will also be on the needles for a bit because I'm heading out of town and I always travel with socks on circs.
On Sunday I'm off to the One & Only Resort in Cabos, Mexico. I have all the necessities packed---iPod, camera, laptop, book, #2 circs, yarn, sunglasses. I'm a lucky girl!
